A Bit of a Hiatus

I know, I've been slacking. But I have to tell you, things have been very quiet in the Mangiaracina world these days. And it has been a welcomed quiet. With house projects coming to an end (for the moment) and Lucy staying healthy, we are embracing the quiet. But there is much ahead to speak of including a trip out to Chicago to see Suzy Q., a performance at the Kennedy Center, some baseball games and concerts and much more, so stay tuned!

I have to say, we did enjoy a lovely holiday weekend filled with lots of time at the pool, a BBQ with Mama and Papa Q., lunch with the always lovely Susan Hogan and a trip to the movie theater to see Transformers in IMAX 3D (a little long, but pretty good BTW). We lamed out (because of me) and didn't make it to see the fireworks last night, but we did catch them on TV and they looked GREAT! Kudos to all of you on the National Mall who put up with the heat and crowds and traffic.
